- in an eternal place of happiness for the saved and an eternal place
of punishment for the lost, Heaven and Hell. (Revelation 21)
- in personal salvation of believers by God's grace,
through faith in the Person and sacrificial work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)
- in sanctification,
personal holiness and purity of heart and life. (2 Corinthians 6:17)
- in water baptism, by immersion, to identify
yourself with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, after salvation, and not as a means to salvation.
In other words, water baptism does not save you. (Acts 8:35-38)
- in the soon-coming return of the Lord Jesus Christ
for believers at the Blessed Hope, (Rapture), and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to set up a Millennial Reign
of Christ on Earth. (1Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 4:1; Revelation 20:6)
- in evangelism
and missionary work in accordance with the Christian commission. (Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; John 20:21;
Acts 1:8)
